Table and Kitchenware
The kitchen and dining areas are two of the most important places in one’s home – and of course, these two places wouldn’t be complete without tables and kitchenware. A table is a kind of furniture made up of a flat surface and (most of the time) four sturdy legs. The main function of a table is to act as a flat surface and hold things (like food) on top of it. Tables are usually used along with chairs. In fact, a table’s height should be made in coordination with the chair’s height as a table is often used while people are sitting. There are many kinds of tables available to an ordinary person, some of which are the bedside table, the drawing table, the coffee table, and the dining table. A bedside table is a small table usually found inside one’s bedroom, beside his or her bed. This table usually holds lamps, small books, alarm clocks and whatever a person might need before sleeping or after waking up and going out of the room. Bedside tables are very useful tables which everyone must have. A drawing table, as the term implies, is a table wherein one may draw (especially technical drawings). Architects find this table particularly useful when doing most of their blueprints. This table may include some sort of ruler on top or on the bottom. This makes the work of an architect much more convenient. A coffee table is one which is usually used in the living room. Drinks are usually placed on top of this table as it (the table) is most handy when conversing with a visitor. Aside from drinks, coffee tables can also hold things like books and other personal items. Perhaps one of the most important tables there are is the dining table. A dining table is where people eat on. People place their food on top of this table, making eating much easier because of the stable surface. There are other important things found inside the house. Another example would be kitchenware. Kitchenware may range from those used in preparing our food to those used in eating them. An example of kitchenware would be the frying pan. The frying pan is used to cook (fry) food. It is placed on top of the stove and is usually used with either with cooking oil or butter. Another example of a kitchenware would be the plates. A plate is where the cooked food is placed on. People get servings of the food and place them on their plates. Plates are very useful as they provide the user not only with stability, but also with convenience. A plate is a very important item in the house. There are lots of important items found in the house and kitchenware and tables are just two of them. GP
